WELCOME TO CHI JUNGLE MAN - HOMESTAY !

You are welcome to stay for the night in a Karen village, in a wooden house, situated 1h30 from Chiang Mai in Mae Wang District, in the middle of nature with rice fields, jungle and amazing view on the mountains.

​

The price is 750 bahts per person for the night, dinner and breakfast included. Transportation can be arranged from Chiang Mai or Mae Win for an additionnal fee, as the last part of the way to the village is dirt road and you would need a 4x4 or a strong motorbike.

​

By your visits you will help support the Karen community and the elephants we are taking care of after the months of closure due to Covid.

​

Come with your friends and family to enjoy a pure moment in nature.

Think about green rice fields, chill and cloudy mountains, night under the stars or morning coffee next to the fire camp. You'll find all of this at Chi Jungle Man - Homestay and even more.

What you should know:

- This is a lovely but simple place nestled in the mountains.

- There is no electricity. You should bring your own battery to charge your material (phone, camera,...).

- There isn't a good phone signal reception. You can get a better one by walking into the village.

- There is no running water. The water in the bathroom comes from the mountains. Be prepared for cold showers.

- There is no real shop at the Karen village so think to bring your own snacks and drinks if you want. We'll have only bottles of water to sell.

คุณสามารถพักค้างคืนในหมู่บ้านกะเหรี่ยงในบ้านไม้ซึ่งอยู่ห่างจากเชียงใหม่ในอำเภอแม่วาง 1.30 น. ท่ามกลางธรรมชาติที่มีทุ่งนา ป่าไม้ และทิวทัศน์อันน่าทึ่งของภูเขา

ราคาที่พักเป็น 750 บาทต่อคืนต่อท่าน สำหรับบังกะโลทุกหลัง และพิเศษสุดสำหรับทุกท่านคือราคานี้ได้รวมอาหารเย็นและอาหารเช้าสำหรับแขกทุกท่านไว้ด้วยเรียบร้อยแล้ว

เนื่องจากถนนบริเวณหมู่บ้านชาวกะเหรี่ยงมีสภาพย่ำแย่ หากท่านประสงค์ให้เราไปรับที่ตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่หรือตำบลแม่วิน สามารถแจ้งทางเราได้โดยเราจะมีค่าใช้จ่ายเล็กน้อยสำหรับการไปรับท่าน ณ จุดนัดพบ

ค่าใช้จ่ายที่ทุกท่านได้ใช้จ่ายเพื่อเข้าพักนั้นทางเราจะทำการจัดสรรเพื่อนำไปสนับสนุนกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของชุมชนชาวกะเหรี่ยงในพื้นที่และเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายในการดูแลช้างซึ่งอยู่ในการดูแลของเราอีกด้วย

สถานที่แห่งนี้เต็มไปด้วยมนต์เสน่แห่งธรรมชาติและความเรียบง่ายของวิถีชาวบ้านกะเหรี่ยง ขอเชิญทุกท่านเข้ามาร่วมสัมผัสประสบการณ์ที่ไม่อาจหาได้จากที่ไหน อากาศดีตลอดทั้งปี และยามค่ำคืนท่านจะพบกับดวงดาวเต็มท้องฟ้า พร้อมกับบรรยากาศรอบกองไฟที่เป็นกันเองในทุกค่ำคืน

 

สิ่งที่ควรทราบก่อนเข้าพัก

• โฮมสเตย์ของเราตั้งอยู่ใจกลางหุบเขา จึงไม่มีระบบไฟฟ้าใช้ ขอให้เตรียมอุปกรณ์สำรองไฟฟ้าส่วนตัวสำหรับท่านมาด้วยในกรณีที่ท่านต้องการใช้ไฟฟ้า

• เนื่องจากโฮมสเตย์ของเราอยู่ใจกลางธรรมชาติ ทำให้สัญญาณโทรศัพท์มือถือไม่ดีเท่าที่ควร

• ไม่มีระบบประปาในพื้นที่ หากต้องการอาบน้ำ ท่านสามารถใกล้ชิดธรรมชาติได้ด้วยการอาบน้ำที่ธารน้ำตกใกล้ๆ ที่พักของเรา

• ควรเตรียมขนมหรือสิ่งอุปโภค บริโภคมาเอง เนื่องจากไม่มีร้านค้าในบริเวณใกล้เคียง ทางเรามีเพียงน้ำดื่มจำหน่ายเท่านั้น
